COMMENTS: Interministerial Order No. 047 Amending Order No. 24 establishes the date by which manufacturers and importers must comply with Order No. 24.
COMMENTS: Interministerial Order No. 24 Requiring a Warning Concerning the Dangers of Tobacco Abuse to Appear on the Packaging of Tobacco Products governs the single text-only warning to be placed on tobacco product packages. This order remains in effect until a regulatory enactment is issued implementing the packaging and labeling requirements of Law No. 2019-676

COMMENTS: Decree No. 2012-980 of October 10, 2012 Prohibiting Smoking in Public Places and on Public Transport governs smoking in public places, workplaces, and public transport. This decree repeals Decree No. 79-477 of June 6, 1979 Prohibiting Smoking in Certain Public Places.
COMMENTS: Law No. 2019-676 of July 23, 2019 on Tobacco Control is the primary sources of legislation governing smoke free places; advertising, promotion and sponsorship; and packaging and labeling.
COMMENTS: Decree No. 65-74 Laying Down the Rules for Packaging of Tobacco, Cigars, Cigarettes, and Matches contains labeling provisions for many tobacco products, but does not address health warnings.
